Re: an "F" for talking while testing

instead of giving them an "f" on the test, why not have a
consequence that you have for other behavior related infractions?
for example, in our second grade classes, they have to "move their
clip" if they don't follow directions, don't listen, are
noncompliant, etc. it seems like not talking during a test is a
behavior issue rather than an academic one, which is what the
grade is supposed to reflect.
so instead of "if you talk, i'll give you an 'F' on your test", why
not "if you talk during the test, you're making the decision to
move your clip and write a note to your parents".
