    Dear Lock&Key85,

Thanks for the post. No, you don't upset me at all, but let
me explain why I do what I do.

I post the "TOME" whenever I think it might benefit the OP,
as I'm aware that we have new visitors all the time. Since I
can't know whether or not they've read that particular post,
I make my best guess based on whether I recognize their name,
as well as on the content of their post.

Now, I actually put [+TOME] in the subject title to warn
those readers who, like you, have read the TOME before. I'm
well aware that many people either a) don't like it, or b)
have read it before and might like to know it's there so as
    to avoid it.

As to the term "TOME," I can see where you are coming from,
but I have to tell you I'm actually doing a litte self-
mockery when I call it that(!). I'm aware that it's a long
and potentially tedious collection of posts, and I'm really
teasing myself when I call it a tome.

So, now that you know that, would it work for you if I kept
posting the TOME when I deem it new to the OP, as long as you
are forewarned by the subject title?

And thanks for the kind words and positive intention of your
    post.

    :-)

    Tom
