Punishment lines don't work. They didn't work on me when I was
in school. If the behavior truly merits punishment, I'd
suggest taking away his/her recess, or detention if he's old
enough.
When the kid leaves school and gets a job, his boss won't give
him a detention or lines. He'll simply fire the misbehaving
employee.
