Has anyone else had a problem with students using faculty restrooms? Already this year, in less than a full week of school, I've caught three different girls coming out of faculty restrooms -- including one girl whom I've caught twice.

I guess part of the problem is that the Vice-Principal doesn't seem to take this all that seriously. It's supposed to be what we call an "Out of Bounds" violation. Tom My wife had that happen once and the student replied, "Have you ever been in the one we are suppose to use?" She answered "no" and followed the student to it. She was so shocked at the filth and smell, she turned and left immediately. She never said anything else about it.

sub In the districts where I have subbed, there are always separate bathrooms. I thought it was a boundary issue to protect privacy and protect the teachers from accusations of improper behavior. The problem is that the staff bathrooms are always locked and only a couple of schools give you a key. Several subs have complained about this on the sub teac...See More
