The puffy paint we used was a fabric paint, which was bought at Hobby Lobby, and came in a squirt bottle. I believe that the paint came with instructions on drying times and washing. I think we had to wait until the day after to wash them and we had to wash them alone for the first time. I hope this helps a little bit. It's a lot of fun and they turn out really cute!
