    I agree with Donna, short, sweet, and kid friendly. We have
    "hop-ups" (the kids "hop-up" to pre-k or kindergarten). I
    have the kids hop through an arbor (with a bubble machine
    going), I give them a stuffed bunny (or a pin wheel, or
    bubbles, depends on the year), a picture of them in preschool
    and their memory book. We sing Tooty-Ta (their favorite song)
    and we have a dessert pot-luck. The "ceramony" lasts about 10
    min, the dessert pot-luck and playing at the park lasts until
    dark. It's a fun evening.
