Heidi,

How ya doing? Nice to hear from you again. My agency isn't
consistant on so many levels. I actually took Thursday of partly
for a break, I was whipped after Brigances and partly because it
was the nicest day predicted for this week, weather wise in
Michigan. I need to tear down my garden and clean a hen house,
AND other stuff, ha ha.

And no we haven't officially started I'm Moving, I'm Learning
but I dont' know why. They sent our big manager a few teachers
and some other folks down south for the training and we did get
ANY training on it this fall OR materials. They do this alot,
waste money training managers and it never trickles to us. For
example almost ALL the mangers went to Creative Curriculum
training in Colorado this spring BUT they are sending just over
20 of us to a neighboring town for training??? The gal training
us used to work for Head Start and said, "WHY are you guys
here???" Stupid...

All the managers got trained ALL last year on 'Cultures of
Thinking' I mean ALL year. We were told we would be adding it
this fall, guess what NO mention of it. Such crap!!

I have no problem with the govt. part of Head Start but our
managers are something else.

I really need to just get my own center. I am getting too old to
change my ways and do what someone else says because THEY say
so, sigh....

But I am going to enjoy tomorrow! I do still use the Choosy
music in my class and have introduced it to my student teachers.
