I will not teach that bookÑever. While the book accurately captures the brutality often found in high schools, opting to include "The Chocolate War" in the curriculum is a perfect invitation for life to imitate artÑand Columbine, et. al. have shown just how efficient kids today are at imitating what they learn elsewhere. Funny, I have no problem with "Lord of the Flies,"1984," or Brave New World."
