Re: Novels that STUDENTS love?

Of Mice and Men by Steinbeck Night by Wiesel (not a novel, though) The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald (my female students generally love it, not such a big hit with my male students). The Things They Carried by O'Brien (I don't get to teach this, it is taught at the 9th grade, but the students still remember it when they get to me at 11th or 12th grade). Tears of a Tiger by Draper (again, this is taught at the 9th grade, but it is a big hit with students ... I think it is a triology).
