Re: bicycle motorcycle

And I have heard bicycle pronounced - sometimes - with two long "i"s.
A bigger concern: Why do so many journalists speak or write of
the "three-year anniversary" of Katrina? Doesn't anyone learn
etymology, even in J-school?
Even worse - They speak of a "one-month anniversary" of some
event. I change channels when this garbage spews.
