Wow,
I agree with you. I do not want to teach them to JUST pass the
test; however, that is what OUR jobs are based on etc. Some of
these same kids are in HONORS classes but can't take a test.
They are not challenged by the material that the state say I
must use and I am trying a variety of strategies etc to make
the grade and to motivate them. The kids in my state has been
held accountable since 10th grade and may not graduate because
of this stupid test.These kids need a saving grace. Why should
they not get a diploma if they complete everything else? I hate
this state law.
