Post: First time newspaper advisor
 Meg Posted on 7/02/09
Hi!
I teach at a small school with a limited budget, but I
have a number of students who wanted a newspaper last
year, and I have been appointed as advisor, since I teach
Language Arts.
I was editor of my high school paper for two years a long
long time ago..and I love the idea of teaching the
course. However, when I was in high school, we used paste
up boards! Now I know those are outdated, and some
websites are saying I can do a newsletter type layout for
free on Microsoft Word, but is that the best way to go?
Any suggestions on layout will be very helpful! Or any
advice on getting started will be much appreciated!
Meg
