    Re: switching to Elem ESL
    Posted by Indri on 7/01/08

Op, Hi. I am curious about the outcome of your situation. Did you
get the elementary position? And how did you feel in the
interview? I am in a very similar situation with a K-12 cert. but
secondary level experience. My main dilemma, however, is that I
have so little experience with elementary and I really want to
switch because I found the middle school environment too stressful
where I was and I really like the younger grades. I have an
interview coming up next week and I'm really nervous.

I'm not too concerned about seeing people from my school in my
town since I don't think I go to the same places my students would
anyhow. Saving $ on gas is huge for me too, especially as the
price seems to be escalating every few weeks. Plus, I hate to
spend so much of my time driving when I could be doing other
    things.

If you don't want to to post your reply you can just email me at
    indri500@yahoo.com.
