Post: ESL paperwork

Posted by Monica from FL on 5/15/08

I'm a second grade teacher in Florida. An ESOL position
just opened up in my school. I'm interested in the
position. I've heard from previous ESOL teachers that
there is a lot of paperwork with ESOL, as much as SLD
teachers. More than in the regular classroom. I feel like
there is already a lot of paperwork in second grade. I
have worked with many ESOL students previously in the
regular classroom and have enjoyed working with this
group. Please let me know from your experience if the
paperwork is overwhelming, compared to the mainstream
    class. Thanks.
    -Monica
