Post: ESL 1,2,3 what is the difference

    Posted by Katy on 9/06/08

I am a second year teacher and 1st yr ESL teacher. I am
teaching ESL 1,2,&3 to 10th-12th graders. It seems to me
that the students were placed according to how many years
they were in the program and not according to ability
levels (according to their Access results). I will be
designing all the curiculum. What do I do? Do I just teach
20 levels(# of students)? I am the only teacher. What
specific things can I give 1st, 2nd, and 3rd that is unique
to each level? I need all of the help I can get to design
    this program.
