It seemed weak in academic vocabulary pertaining to
literature, and in literary analysis and process writing. (I
do not have the book in front of me, but I think this was the
issue for us.) Also if I remember correctly the lowest level
does not teach basic reading skills which many of our
students need. Like I said in my other post, I think it's
good material, but not comprehensive enough - mostly lacking
in specific aspects of reading and literature.
