Limiting a child to twice a day to go to the bathroom can be
risky, especially in K, where accidents happen. Certainly,
assigning a "buddy" during the day, who can speak his
language, and help him through this learning process is a
great idea. You could also have him sit by you, during many
lessons, so he knows he's special (as all the children are,
of course) and perhaps will know he is "safe" with you rather
than in the midst of a crowd of kids he can't understand.
Is he getting counseling to help him through this?
Good luck with this one
