I should mention my pull-out group only lasts 2 1/2 hours, 1
bathroom break an hour isn't bad. Plus he can go at lunch. 80%
of our school is ESOL, so ESOL kids don't get counseling. All
the kids speak his language, so that's not a problem. He's found
a buddy, but the buddy doesn't speak a word of English either.
I've found out through ESOL testing that this kid has no
vocabulary in Spanish, either. He's a really sad case.
I'll try having him sit by me. I'll try having him sit next to a
smart kids who can translate while on the carpet. Thanks for the
advice.
