If you can find the FastMath program from Fairfax county,
Virginia there is information in it regarding ELL's and
Math. The program was developed for ELL's with interrupted
schooling, and it focuses on the skills and the vocab of math.
If I remember correctly, there are some introductory pages
about the rationale for the program. Maybe that will help.
