Josh, as I responded to a related thread, I wouldn't go with
any that didn't also provide an on-site teaching practicum
and was less than 120 course hours. Try this one:
www.ontesol.ca. It would be better if you could do
the entire course on-site (try http://www.study-at-
coventry.com/chi/index.htm) but, if not, then only a course
that has an on-site practicum is going to be worth it.
Courses done entirely online are generally not considered an
adequate qualification and employers that would hire you with
one would also hire you without one.
If you're hoping to work in the States, especially in the K-
12 public schools, then you'll most likely need an ESL
endorsement or whatever your state calls it. At the
college/university level, some require a masters degree while
others (particularly at the community college level) might
let you get away with a graduate certificate in adult
education and/or in TESOL.
