Hi All, I was hired a month ago as an itinerant ESL Teacher. I have no ESL training. My students are great, though. My biggest of the challenges is selecting reading material. How does one go about this? Particularly for the middle school Level 1 or or possibly level 2 language proficiency student? Don't want to insult them with 1st grade material; don't want to set them up for failure with grade level material. Most school materials are way too long and dense. Can anyone recommend a series or anthology or curriculum?
