Re: SUVs suck gas, money, ruin environment
Posted by Owen on 3/22/04

Well Sue, It's a shame we don't live in a society that everyone's actions are thought
out concerning how it will affect others.

I drive an SUV...I would say I need an SUV...I live in an area that has horrible roads
in the winter...I could drive a truck but with 3 kids I need more room than that.

You may say I WANT an SUV..actually I didn't because I did think it was too big but it
was what fit my needs at the time. Yes they probably do use more gas then a honda
civic...but I'm sure there are other vehicles out there that use alot of gas too...and
I don't see terrorists driving them.

I'm glad that there are people out there like you to balance us out though. Since you
drive an electric car (or is it a bicycle you drive?) And since you do not use anything
that pollutes the air, you recycle everything, and don't use aerosol cans or anything
like that... and of course you don't drink or smoke or do anything like that to damage
society. Hopefully you have many friends similar to yourself that will balance us
    sinners out. :)
