Well...how about this for a kicker. I'm in the same boat as you but I
consolidated my loans. Because of the consolidation, I don't qualify
either. The excuse? DOE claims to be unable to distinguish between any
loans for any "teaching" related classes vs other classes I may have
taken. Also, the time frame cutoff date is their other excuse. Incredibly
frustrating. Oh yeah, I've been teaching in low income schools for 18
years.
