You're doing everything right, and the people emailing
unsubscribe requests to the ring are doing everything wrong.

I wish I could tell you they'll stop doing it, but I've
written the list three times with explicit instructions to
NOT EMAIL THE RING with their unsubscribe requests.

Every time I do, it generates three more "remove me" requests.

Hang in there, the directions are very clear and teachers are
smart, so they should catch on.

If you want to improve things, try emailing the ring with
appropriate posts, like introducing yourself, or asking a
question, or passing along a tip, anecdote, or observation.
