My wife has a Master's and goes in every Sunday, early every day and stays late. She has 14 Special Needs kids out of 28, 5th Graders. She is required to write a lesson plan for each subject for each child with an IEP. So that's 5 plans for 14 Mainstream students every day -STOP- this is more than a Biology teacher in 11th Grade who writes 1 plan for 3 classes per day and is paid the same-now let's move on to 5 X14 plans for the IEP kids, which is 70 plans. So that is 75 written plans per day. And it is required. She almost died from the stress and lack of sleep. If she does die before she retires, I will go in to the next school board meeting and ask, "WHY DID YOU KILL MY WIFE?"
