I do pretty much what you first described -- I do the RR,
introduce the book, have the student read it at desk/or away, and
while student #1 is reading, I'm doing RR with a second student.
By the time I finish with 2nd RR, either my first student is
ready to answer the questions with me, or I go on to another RR.
I also find that I'm using the nonfiction books almost
exclusively as I find I get much more accurate information that
way.
