I have been teaching for 3 years and was recently RIFed. I
decided to use my time to go back to school to complete my
masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in
math. Next school year, 2011-2012 I will be conducting a
study about the effectiveness of math programs at help
students master number sense concepts. I am currently
looking for 4th grade teachers who would be interested in
participating with their classroom. This is an easy study
and should only take you 2-3 hours 3 times a year. It
involves a teacher survey, student data (using first names
only, and only collected once), and a multiple choice test
for students 3 times through the school year. Please email
me if you are interested with your name, school name, city
and state, and what math program/publisher you use as your
main form of instruction. Thank you so much for your help
and participation, it is greatly appreciated.
