    I love to show my students a documentary called The
    Guillotine. It's in English, but there are just enough
    gross parts that they love it and it keeps them interested.
    I have no idea if it's still available commercially. My
    school owned it when I came on board 9 years ago.

    My level 4 class used the Glencoe text Tresors du Temps, and
    each chapter is a history lesson in French.
