Re: Pacing for Discovering French Bleu
I have been using DF for two years. I have 42-minute daily
classes. I was ambitious the first year but now realize I can only
get through about 15 chapters the first year. The second year I
finish whatever unit we're on and proceed to the the second book.
The third year I finish the second level book. The fourth year I
plan to begin the third level book. If all of my students were
gifted, I could go farther. If I try to go faster, the students
don't really learn the material. I have to go back and review
occasionally. I also need to interject some fun projects
(food/culture/holidays) to keep the motivation up.
