I have been celebrating since last week. Our school sign
says "La Semaine du francais", we've put posters all over the
school, announcements on the intercom saying pledge in French
and word of the day, menu posted in cafeteria in French, and
we'll finish up with a French cuisine lesson on Tues. A chef
is coming to our classroom to make beignets and cafe-au-lait
with the students. I've invited parents, principals, school
bd. member, and teachers and staff to sample our cooking. I
brought 2 truck loads of everything French in my house (and
antiques) to school and I've set up little vignettes in my
classroom.
It looks good, but I also wanted to put a fake dome awning on
my exterior door and paint something on it...like a simple
line drawing of a Parisian street, Paris storefronts, or just
a couple of windows and windowboxes.
I can find NO clipart, that won't take a ton of ink to print,
nor can I find directions on easy door canopies. Ideas
anyone??? I've googled myself silly!
