This is only my second year of teaching, but I've had some
experience with three different books already.
I used C'est a toi last year and got halfway through Chapter 7
for my French I's. I only had French I last year. Definitely
did not like the book.
This year I am using Bien Dit! and we are just starting Chapter
4 right now (midway through the year) so I am guessing I will
end up in a similar place with this book as well. I do have
French II, III, and IV this year as well but they were so far
behind from the previous teacher that they have not really been
using their level-appropriate books. Sorry I'm not too much
help there! I can say I like this book series quite a bit
better than C'est a toi.
Also, during my student teaching I used the Discovering French
books and I liked those as well.
