Bonjour,

I taught exclusively DF Bleu for 6 years, four periods a day.
We have only 45 min. five days a week.

From the very first year, we finished in the lesson with the
Passé Composé with être.

In the "Nouveau" edition, we finish lesson 11, adjectives, for
the semester exam. We finish lesson 24 for the final exam.

In French II, Blanc, the pace is a bit slower. This is my 5th
year teaching 3 sections of Fr. II. For the semester exam we
will have finished Unit 2 lesson 12 plus lesson 31, the future
simple. For the final exam, we will have covered most of unit
7. The grammar of lessons 27 and 28 is very easy for the
students.

In French III, Rouge, first semester will have unit 5 on it.
Second semester will have unit 9 on it.

If you go too slow, the student never get to a point where
they have a sense of achievement.

Fr. II is taught the simple future in one week before a fall
break. This year for the first time, I will teach at least
one lesson of the Imparfait the first week of second semester.

The Imparfait is so important to self expression and to
reading any non adapted materials.
