Hello French teachers!
I recently stumbled on Jena Lee, a Chilean girl adopted into
a French family, who has recently topped the French charts
with her new single, "J’aimerais tellement." I like the
video because it is animated and her music style is a
mixture that is sure to appeal to a wide variety of
students. She calls her music "emo R&B", and quotes
influences such as Linkin Park, Timbaland and Britney
Spears. Also, the lyrics have lots of repetition of the
conditional "J’aimerais".
