Bonjour à tous,

I am trying to chose a textbook for next year, and at this point I am going back and forth between T'es branché and Bien Dit! Any thoughts on which one might be more suitable? I like the plethora of cultural information in T'es branché, but I think Bien Dit! might have a little more structure and more practice activities.

I would love to hear some thoughts. -R

Jarod HM I am rather surprised when people say that they like Bien Dit! At my last school, they purchased the series just before both of the previous teachers found new positions. My new colleague and I were both experienced using the Discovering French series and found Bien Dit! confusing and frustrating.

There is NO perfect textbook. Each and every one will need supplemental activities in both grammar, audio, and proficiency based documents.

It is best to use "une méthode" that you like and then to supplement the heck out of it. The CLE Interantional books are the best for supplementing any American textbook...See More
