Re: HELP- Do you know of any teacher travel groups???
Posted by Judy Mizrachi on 1/24/07

Female teachers- I have a solution to your problem- I organize and
accompany (along with a licensed Israeli guide) small groups of females
on hiking/adventure trips to Israel. So far everyone who has gone on
this trip has said it was the most amazing trip of their lives. As we
speak, I am planning a summer trip and many of those interested are in
fact teachers. The trip is spectacular- we hike mountains, desert
canyons, swim in waterfalls, ride camels, bikes and sleep in a Bedouin
tent. Israel is such a small country that you can traverse it in less
than six hours witnessing the most amazing panoramas- from stark deserts
to green and lush riverbeds. There is something here for any teacher to
take back to their classroom. If safety is an issue- believe me I lived
in Israel for 2 years, visit at least twice a year and have sent 3 of my
children to live there and have felt safer there than in the US. For my
info visit my web site-www.womenwalkers.com or call me (Judy) 614-581-
    4251.
