Hey Everyone-
I as well am SUPER excited to see that there is some sort of group forming for
people interested in traveling over the summer. I am a 26yr old teacher in
Virginia (art teacher), looking to find a group or someone to travel with. I
really want to go to Asia or Africa (I have been to S.Africa before), but really
I am up for anything. I have found some travel programs through my part time
job (REI adventure trips). These are really neat trips and the guides are
friendly and awesome. I was looking for something priced better...but if I get
a group of teachers together interested in traveling, maybe I will have some
sort of bargaining chip. They have a really neat adventure trip to thailand and
a bunch of other places (http://www.rei.com/adventures/trips/asia/thai.jsp).
Asia/Africa is really inexpensive once you get over there, so I would not be
apposed to buying a ticket and just figuring it out from there (I know this is
not the preferred method, but really I just want to travel even if there is not
a program out there).
Anyway, include me in the group email (and if there is not one already I can
start one). Feedback would be awesome, so email me if you have any ifo!
Thanks!
