Thanks for the advice Magoo. I think I am kind of already on the
right track, according to the things you told me. I am trying to
pay off my credit cards, I have one and hubby has two. I have
paid off all my little cards, like JC Penney, etc. I then started
applying the money I would be paying to them to the two big
credit cards. I had to laugh when I read what you wrote about
your house, because my husband and I have said the same thing
about our house! We really wish we could move to something nicer
but this one will be paid for in just 18 months, and it is close
to my mother. My car is only 3 years old. Hubby wants a newer
vehicle, so we may start looking for a good used truck soon.
My oldest daughter will be finished with college in two years,
and should be teaching. My youngest will be a junior in college,
but she has already been offered several scholarships. She had
never made below an A on a report card in her life, and has a
very high ACT score. So, she shouldn't need a lot of financial
help from us.
