Oh yes, I changed doctors. My dermatologist sent me to a specialist,
who in turn me to a kidney specialist. Luckily the lupus hasn't
affected my kidneys. :) However, I will be going to the specialist
once a month for the next year! The doctor who told me that there
was nothing wrong with me was "man" enough to apologize to me after
the diagnosis. He told me that based on my past history, of extreme
good health, he was shocked when the results came back. He kept
telling me how sorry he was, etc. Oh well. Maybe he has learned
from his mistake with me, and another patient won't have to go
through this.
