I had the 2 -disc special edition....Paper Clips

In a small rural community of less than two thousand people
nestled in the mountains of Tennessee, citizens are almost
exclusively white and Christian. In 1998, the children of
Whitwell Middle School took on an inspiring project,
Launched out of their principals's desire to help her
students open their eyes to the diversity of the world
beyond their insulated valley. What happened would change
the students, their teachers, their families and the entire
town forever...and eventually open hearts and minds around
the world.

I was showing this DVD to a class today and the school said
it would be okay for me to borrow it for the evening. If
any of you have been to this community it would be neat to
read about your reaction. I did not hear of this project
when it was taking place.

JUst a superb documentary and what teens are able to
achieve with the help of a few dedicated adults.
