I was thinking that the 14th of November was the anniversary of our Margy's passing, so I came here today to note that anniversary...but I just noticed that it was actually on the 13th of last November - not the 14th - when she left us.

I've kept the cardinal as my avatar for a year in her memory, and I know all of her many friends here join me in raising a snickerdoodle in her memory.

Number404 I have a plastic cardinal on my window shade pull, and a real patio where I sit in the summer and have my beverage of choice. Both of those make me remember Magoo. She was someone very special.

Flacka She had such a flair for telling a story. I remember her story of the badger (I think) in her freezer and laughing all the way through. Her stories were every bit as entertaining as Dave Barry's.
