Mr. VET planting smaller veg. garden

Mr. VET feels we can buy more veggies at local farmers markets because gardening is more difficult as we get older.

I am the "sheller and breaker", since I do not get around well at all, now.

Elaine/ret/IN Good to hear from you, Vet. I'm sorry you don't get around well. We, too, have a very tiny garden. Tomatoes, kale, and beets are all that we need to have on-site. Farmers' Markets are wonderful.

VET to Elaine Good to hear from you, Elaine. Mr. VET had planned a much smaller veg. garden, but the couple we garden with are a little older than us, but are sort of like Energizer Bunnies, esp. the wife.

I think Mr. VET would have been willing to forgo all, but a few tomatoes.
