When we remodeled a few years ago, we went from a full to king sized bed and redid most of the master.

Mr. VET has sleep apnea and had a very loud CPAP machine, so a little space was welcome;

Now, his new CPAP is very quiet and it was very difficult to get out of the high bed. Our solution was to get anew Tempera pedic(?) bed w/ a remote control that can raise the head and/or foot of the matttres which is on sort of a platform.

We gave our K-S bed to a young teacher couple w/ 2 boys. (Very nice people.) We also gave them all our K-S sheet sets, pillows, bedspread, blankets, warming bottom sheet, new electric blanket and King headboard. In exchange they will pay for a queen-sized headboard for us and a new bedspread (solid color) that will match our drapes. They have already given us their Queen electric blanket.
Betty Ann Wonderful. The outcome is TWO happy couples.

VET You are right, Betty Ann. We could have rented out the middle 1/3(plus) of the king-sized bed.

The 2 sons of the young couple love the new bed, too.

Thank you for the response, Betty Ann.
