Sorry to hear about your broken bones. How did you do it? How long will it be before you mend? How are you managing. Have broken toes and a thumb more recently, but the worst break was when I was 12. Broke arm, dislocated shoulder and cracked knee when a car ran me down. Strongest memory is of how much it ached at night - could NOT get comfortable. Miserable. Hope you all heal successfully and soon.

Novel Glad to hear from you, Alison. These knee scooters sound like such a good idea, but just cannot imagine you in a classroom maneuvering between teenagers. Stay away until you are healed. Keep in touch xx

Alison/Aus YAY! 6 weeks post op and I got the got ahead today to begin some gentle weight bearing. Sounds like it'll be about 3 weeks until I move to the next stage. We finish third term this week and I'll have missed 7 out of the 10 weeks, while still not quite being healthy enough to return when school goes back after the holidays.
