Re: Fragrances- Allergy - Asthma - Migraines![]()
Posted by Cheryl Woyak on 5/20/07
I get a headache almost every day that I teach.
Last year I taught full time and came home almost every
single day. Sometimes the headaches turned into migraines.
Now I am a substitute teacher. On the days that I teach, I
brace myself and wait for the headache. I try to bring pain
reliever and take it at the first sign of pain. This past
Thursday, I subbed in a 1st grade classroom and came home
with a migraine that put me out of commission for 24 hours.
The pain was so bad that I threw up and ended up taking a V
Vicadin. My prescription Maxalt didn't work. I don't know
what it is about working at school that is giving me these
headaches. I hope I don't need to change careers. Any
ideas??
