Post: Becoming a Health Teacher in California

Posted by Leslie on 3/25/08

    Hi Everyone,

I have a BS in Health Education and I am a certified
teacher in MA. I have recently moved to CA in search of
work experience in the health field before returning to
the classroom. However, after six months of applying to
various health related jobs without landing any positions
I am ready to search for health teaching jobs in the
classroom setting again. Does anyone know what that
process would entail? I know the first step is to take the
cbest, but from there I am unsure of how to search for
health educator openings at local schools. I'd appreciate
    any help of information.

    Sincerely,
    Leslie Gaillard
