I am all for collaboration, but this woman that I am teaching with this year seems to flat out want me to do her job for her. She is constantly asking me for materials that I created and use in my class. If she senses that I am annoyed at her asking me constantly (which I am), she then asks her former students (my current students) if they can get extra copies of my stuff for her. She also asks them to see the tests I am giving, etc. Midterm exam time is approaching and she has never given one before. Since this is something she is now being required to do, she wants copies of mine so that she doesn't have to write them herself. She tries to butter me up by telling me that she "wants to learn from me", even though in the next breath she will talk about what an amazing teacher she is. I am just sick and tired of working so hard to come up with great lessons just so she can try and steal them. Sombra Thanks for your suggestions. Oh how I wish this was a first year teacher that wanted my help! My attitude would be completely different as I too remember how overwhelming it was. I clung to the textbook for those first couple years.

Other Options I disagree with Math guy's response in part in that she is "not getting it" and will simply get by once again on your hard work. The principal may well be just favoring this older teacher if he/she has known them awhile. Why not break the mid-term in sections and say OK for this first time, you develop the test over these topics and I will do the X...See More
