Re: Question about DFW area
Posted by smarkham01 on 5/10/08

You should note that none of the ISDs mentioned by cjode are
contiguous suburbs of Dallas. Garland is contiguous and hasn't
reached the "too big to be good" point yet (my son attended GISD
schools in Rowlett from K-7he is in Caddo Mills now). I sub in
Caddo Mills and Royse City used to sub in Rockwall. I wouldn't
recommend Rockwall, elitest and suffereing from rapid growth.
Royse City is also rapidly growing, but at the lower-middle class
level. My best day at Royse City isn't close to my worst day at
Caddo Mills. Even as a sub, I see quieter, more respectful
    students (HS and MS).
