Posted by french teacher on 5/04/08 Hi, I came from another province and applied for a high school teaching position in Toronto last year which was posted on Internet, I got the job and the Ontario Teaching Certification. The former teacher (undergraduate) on this position had quit to go to study her Bachiller in Education. I got the job again for next year 2008-2009 but now the former teacher is on my school doing the practice (not with me) and she told me she is trying to get her job back doing whatever is possible. I think she is provoking me like evaluating all my classes and activities and what I am teaching, comparing with what she was teaching last years, speaking with me while I am preparing my classes, seating on by desk, looking on my papers, going behind me all the time (hard to believe she is doing her practice), seating and reading all the time beside me on the teacher’s room while my preparation time, even she entered my computer with my ID on and put a flash in!! I went to see the principal and she promised me she is going to speak with the practitioner. I am down and in shock. What more should I do? Thank you.
