Re: Help getting through the end of the year
Posted by zodea on 5/10/08

I recently did a brine shrimp lab that the students
enjoyed. It took up lots of time but because they had to
graph their data and actually think about their results, I
think it was worth while. They were busy trying to find the
optimal salt concentration for hatching brine shirmp.

We had some stero-microscopes available and the students
actually got to see some brine shrimp hatching. They really
    got excited.

Instead of the last test for the quarter, they are doing a
project for me. They get to choose an endangered species
and tell me about it and where it lives. They need to make
    a brochure about their species.

We are getting very close to the end. I have TWO more days
with my seniors and ten more days with the underclassmen.
It is going WAY too fast.

    Good luck,

    zodea
