Re: Second year in a row!

I teach ESL. In our school, I do the scheduling for all ESL students
and the Spec Ed teachers do it for their students. As soon as the
principal as the overall schedule set in stone, he gives us a list of
what everyone is teaching. Then we do the scheduling, usually at
home at our own pace. It takes me anywhere from a day to three days
depending on alot of factors. Then I drive them over to the school
and we discuss them and make any needed changes.
The principal can not make us to this during the summer since we are
on vacation. We use our vacation time, because it is a nightmare to
try to do in the few hours we have during inservice that is not
predesignated to meetings. IT is even worse to try to do it the
first week of school.
This works at our school because it is not very big and we are
willing to give up the time and the counselor, principal and all
teachers are easy to contact and pretty much get along with each
other.
